Description
River Road starts in Hunt Texas and follows the Guadalupe River for a few miles until it runs into the main highway. The Guadalupe in summer is green and lush with growth along the river banks, but in the winter, after the Bald Cypresses lose their foliage it has a more somber, quiet beauty. Most years it does not snow or often go below 20 degrees F in this area, so some of the bushes and grasses keep a few leaves, and even hints of green, from the previous summer.
