Description
I love these Christmas flowers, and look forward to having them in the house each year.I had fun playing with my art supplies creating "Cyclamen". I used matte acrylic medium as a resist to create pattern in the leaves, and a water-soluble "dark wash" graphite pencil from Derwent for the dark areas of the flowers. I painted the flower areas with a combination of Winsor and Newton and Daniel Smith watercolor crayons plus standard tube watercolor. The model is sitting in my studio providing winter cheer.
