Wildflowers is the second studio album by American musician and songwriter Tom Petty, released November 1, 1994. It was Tom's first album released on Warner Bros. Records after recording there with the Traveling Wilburys. It was the first of three albums he would produce with Rick Rubin. All the members of the Heartbreakers except drummer Stan Lynch played on the album but, were not credited because quote Petty “I and Rick both wanted more freedom than to be strapped to five guys". Lynch was replaced by Steve Ferrone, who played on the Traveling Wilburys albums and became a member of the Heartbreakers. Ringo Starr did drums on “To Find a Friend”.
The album was certified 3X Platinum by the RIAA in the U.S. Four singles were released from the album but only “You Don't Know How It Feels” reached #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Album Rock Tracks for a week. “You Wreck Me”, It's Good to Be King” and “A Higher Place” reached #2, 6, and 12 in order...
