Description
The rock layers and strata of the flysch sink into the Bay of Biscay. Apart from the breathtaking beauty of this place where the earth meets a sea of crystalline waters, nature tells us a story of ancient geologic times. The Basque village of Zumaia, Spain holds the Global Boundary Stratotype Sections and Points (GSSP) for the Selandian and Thanetian Ages.

In today's nano-second world do we appreciate time? Think of the span it took for these layers. Excellent POV and composition
