Description
“Oriole” comes from a Latin word that translates to “the golden one.” The Oriole is often one of the first birds to embrace Spring and therefore the Oriole’s song is linked to hope, new beginnings, and growth.
The Oriole has vivid colors of light and dark. It is a songbird and its characteristics symbolize positive news, change, achieving new heights, and attaining balance. The birds contrasting colors signify both the sun and mystery.
I really enjoyed painting the bright orange bird against the pink flowers. I hope you love it too!
