Description
I painted this as a demo for my Winter 2024 Watercolor Students (and this one was for the more advanced group.) It was complicated, time-consuming, and I loved it! (Not sure some of my students did -- haha.) I will always be the "California Girl" I grew up to be, though I haven't lived there since my late teens. I love everything about oranges -- especially their scent! I felt that everything surrounding them needed to be the opposite color, to make them pop -- hence all the blues. And painting striped fabric will always be a particular love of mine -- and a passion.
