In the artwork, Girls Day out in Paris, the central focus (in addition to shopping and travel) is friendship, and we, the viewer, step into a vignette where five friends enjoy the end of a perfect day. It’s perfect not just because they’ve shopped, not just because they’ve walked the streets of Paris, but because they’ve done it together, as friends, sharing an experience that they will never forget.
