I created this from photographing fireworks and then an American flag. The piecemeal of the flag I did to depict the signs of our times where our dreams are being continuously assaulted and shattered. I pray we all wake up and re-hone our views before our democracy itself is totally destroyed.

Dignity, also known as Dignity of Earth and Sky, is a sculpture on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River near Chamberlain, South Dakota. The 50-foot-high stainless-steel statue by South Dakota artist laureate Dale Claude Lamphere depicts an Indigenous woman in Plains-style dress receiving a star quilt. The sculpture honors the culture of the Lakota and Dakota peoples who are indigenous to South Dakota.
It was a gift to the State of South Dakota in 2014, in honor of the 125th anniversary of South Dakota statehood. The statue was erected in September 2016 at a site near Interstate 90, where it overlooks the river. It is situated in the Chamberlain Interstate Welcome Center located at mile post 264 and is accessible by both directions of travel.

Sunset Seagulls And Piers by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day 182 of the 365 Challenge.
The Cedar Point area of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi (USA) is the number one location in that city for gorgeous sunsets.
Piers and old pier posts give the seagulls a place to perch as they are settling down before nightfall.
Clouds forming over the body of water, known as the Bay of Saint Louis, reflect light from the sun as it sinks lower in the sky towards the horizon.
The bright light from the setting sun shining behind the seagulls turns their images into silhouettes that produce a stark contrast to the colorful sky.

Raindrop On The Umbrella by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day Three of Challenge 24 (Theme: Umbrellas & Boots).
A sunny day on a sandbar on the Jourdan River in Hancock County, Mississippi (USA) is interrupted by a short lived summer rain shower.
An umbrella that was used for shade from the burning sun also provided protection from the cold raindrops during that shower.
This photograph shows a single raindrop dripping off the edge of the umbrella after the rain had stopped and the sun came back out from behind the clouds.
Rain or shine, umbrellas can provide protection from the elements.

Summer On Little Cedar Creek
Summer along Little Cedar Creek in Allentown's Trexler Park. This photo taken on a late July afternoon. Lush plant life lines the creek dotted with yellow flowers. The blue afternoon sky and park trees reflect off the refreshing waters of this narrow stream as it makes its journey towards the larger Cedar Creek.
Shot with Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra while taking a walk with my girlfriend yesterday. Edited in LR, PS and Topaz for final result.

No point in knocking:
No point in knocking is a photograph of what was once an entrance door.
Nowadays this unique light blue wooden frame is a decorative detail that enhances the beauty of the traditional maltese stone wall.
Found in a street of Valletta, the Maltese capital city.
Thank you!
