Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This piece celebrates the owlets (baby owls), in the northern Midwest. The painting uses acrylic fabric paints to create the three-dimensional effects of the trees and owls, because it is actually three-dimensional!
The oblong style makes a fabulous yoga mat or wall hanging. Pick one bird that you like the best, or capture all three!
As with all of my raptor paintings, the proceeds from the sale of this work are donated to the Raptor Center of Minnesota: https://www.raptor.umn.edu

I like the vertical format of this piece, which works especiallly well in the “stacking” of the three birds one atop each other. The intensity of three pairs of eyes boring through the viewer adds a strong sense of personality.
Cheryle Gannaway replied:
Thank you, Steve! They're definitely characters :)
