I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
The Shroud is the single most studied artifact in human history. There is no telling if it is, in fact, the burial linen cloth that was wrapped around the Lord Jesus. That is still a mystery. It's interesting how God likes to leave hidden secrets for us to ponder... and then search for the truth. There is also a certain amount of depth to this particular mystery, and could well be an article that was left behind to always keep the question lingering in our minds.
The digital remake has an eerie, yet comforting, feel to it. I had quite a time while composing it and looking for color that would bring out the elements and leave it with an old world quality. It made me have a greater understanding of where the traditional renditions of Christ have their origins.
