Description
By Bob Cunningham. Manson, Iowa was established in 1872 as a tiny town on the Illinois Central railroad. In 1900, the Rock Island line also came through town. The ICRR ran east and west and the RIRR ran north and south. But what if both lines ran parallel? And what if both locomotives showed up at the same time? And what if the billowing smoke from the steam engines gathered overhead to create the most beautiful sunset imaginable?

Wow, stunning, the smoke blends into the wonderful clouds
Cunningham Studio replied:
Thanks for your comment, Sherilyn. Yes, that's the effect I was going for -- having the smoke blend into the clouds. Probably doesn't happen in real life, but then that's what art is for. LOL
