Plot:
"The Misfits" is set in the Nevada desert and follows the lives of a group of drifters and outcasts. The central character is Roslyn Taber, played by Marilyn Monroe, a recently divorced woman who comes to Reno for a fresh start. She encounters three men: Gay Langland, played by Clark Gable, a rugged cowboy and aging bronco rider; Guido, portrayed by Eli Wallach, a mechanic; and Perce Howland, played by Montgomery Clift, a rodeo cowboy.
