The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

This heavily textured painting reminds me -- I can't say why -- of something I heard years ago: the key to understanding is understanding that there are things I will never understand.

For twenty years I sought to enter the state of “mushin” when I paint without fully understanding what I was seeking or having a name for it. Then I stumbled on the name and found resources that helped me understand it and enter it at will. Mushin is a Japanese term and Zen expression, also used in martial arts.
