This painting ( the 2nd of the Series) is depicting the moment when the subject, the abandoned woman, after receiving in the mail the ADIOS Letter (on the table), is sitting quietly in her dark room, with a hurting heart. After reading HIS letter she knows that he will not be back.
----
A few months ago one of my best girlfriends notified me that her husband left her, after 23 years of marriage. I could feel her pain and suffering in her voice. He always was the center of her Universe, he meant everything to her.
I also could hear the hope in her voice; the hope for his returning to her.
I spent a lot of time trying to be next to her, to support her; wasn't much I really could do for her, unfortunately.
This unhappy event in my friend's life inspired me to paint a Series of 3 paintings, "The Eternal Whys Series", and depicting 3 different moments in a woman's life, in such a painful period.
The "The Eternal Whys Series" is exhibited here in my Gallery, please check them out...:)
In real these paintings look very, very impressive. I painted the womens body using Gold and Bronze.
I opted for this skin color because I wanted the artworks to tell a sad story that can happen in any women's life, anywhere on the globe. For the same reason the women does not have faces either.
To emphasize the message of each painting, and the 3 different captured moments, I used the colors according to the depicted phase. My choice of the technique I used for the execution of this Series, serves the same purpose.

This is truly amazing.... and thank God that he left a letter because some just walk out without one word of explanation ! May God continue to heal and protect your dear friend because in reality, she is loved - loved by THE ONE who will always be there - One who will always be present to protect and to deliver her from the evil of humanity! Healing/restoration is one of the presents that He loves to give to those who believe enough to receive....blessings to you and your friend! Thank you for sharing.....f/v
