This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

No relation to German expressionist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Raphael Kirchner (1867-1917) was an Austrian commercial and postcard artist whose mildly erotic illustrations for magazines and postcards proved hugely popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Kirchner's unique style combined Art Nouveau with Japanese art to create 'saucy' pin-up-images that were especially favoured by European and American troops in World War I. Kirchner also worked as a theatre designer and sculptor, and created movie poster designs. Kirchner moved to the US at the outbreak of World War I and lived there until his death in 1917.
