This is a view of Pier 60 at sunrise from the Hilton Hotel in Clearwater Beach, Florida. As the sun rose the sky turned into pastel colors that softly reflected onto the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Recently I put together a photography workshop with Serge Ramelli in Florida, and this is the view from the balcony of my hotel room at the Hilton. It was a lot of work to put the workshop together, and the hotel surprised me with a room upgrade to a large suite with the best view of the pier right on the beach. It was so nice to enjoy this special room and have this view early in the morning before the beach or pool got busy. It was so quiet, I could hear the waves of the Gulf of Mexico gently rolling in and the seagulls flying by. I had enough room to set up my tripod on the balcony and took photos to capture this entire view. I am so happy I got this photo! Pier 60 is a beautiful pier with an incredible view of the Gulf of Mexico. This white sandy beach is rated as one of the top beaches in Florida.
