Using as a wallet
1961 TR6/R Steve McQueen Desert Racer. This machine is the bike Steve McQueen rode across the Californian deserts, built by his good friend Bud Ekins. Fitted with light weight alloy guards the front guard was something Bud produced for desert racing and sold from his shop. Also fitted with high level pipes for ground clearance, a Bates desert racer seat, early 1957 forks, half width front wheel. The tank used on this bike is from a 1957 T100/RR, if you look close you will see the petrol taps face backwards this was used on this bike as it was a lot lighter than the standard tank.
