Soft Ripples by Hardhead
The Hardhead is a type of duck and it leaves behind a beautiful pattern of ripples as it swims across the lake. The Hardhead is chocolate brown in colour, with a white undertail. In males the eye is also white, in females it is brown. They have a pale blue tip on their bill. Hardheads can be found Australia wide in fresh water wetlands, they rarely come on land.
Taken in south-east Queensland, Australia.
