Plot:
"Singin' in the Rain" is set in Hollywood during the late 1920s, a time of significant change in the film industry. The film follows the story of Don Lockwood (played by Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont (played by Jean Hagen), a famous on-screen romantic duo known for their silent films.
However, with the advent of sound in movies, the film industry is undergoing a seismic shift. Silent film stars are faced with the challenge of adapting to "talkies" (films with synchronized sound), and not all actors are equipped to make the transition smoothly. Lina Lamont, in particular, faces difficulties due to her high-pitched and grating voice.
