A vintage movie poster reproduction of ''Robin Hood'' a 1938 American adventure film directed by Michael Curtiz and William Keighley. The film is one of the many adaptations of the legendary English outlaw Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men. It stars Errol Flynn as Robin Hood, Olivia de Havilland as Maid Marian, and Basil Rathbone as Sir Guy of Gisbourne.
The film tells the classic tale of Robin Hood, who, with his band of loyal followers, rebels against the oppressive rule of Prince John (played by Claude Rains) and the Sheriff of Nottingham (played by Melville Cooper) in Sherwood Forest. Robin Hood and his Merry Men engage in daring acts of heroism and thievery, stealing from the rich to give to the poor and striving to restore justice to the kingdom.
