This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things.The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!
This was the afternoon of the fourth day at the CPAWS Dumoine River Art Camp - Sunday. Christophe completed some art work with CPAWS and his parents while visiting the Art Camp Open House. Christophe was pleased with his composition and wanted me to turn it into an oil painting. Christophe instructed me to make the final product "more realistic" than his drawing and I promised to give it a try.
I headed uphill just about 20 yards to the west end of the camp. There was a stand of trees there at the fork in the paths that had interested me from my arrival. I started to work on Christophe's compostion before he had even left the Art Camp. The mosquitoes were fierce away from the waters edge and within the forest canopy. My bug suit saved me and allowed me to paint. I was still not using my reading glasses - one does not want to see too many details while painting en plein air.
The dominate red pine tree on the left displays the distinctive reddish bark and had needles...
I paint outside - nothing between my eyes and the inspiration. That special connectivity gets into the pigments and you quickly realize that we are all stewards of the land, privileged to appreciate its beauty during our lifetime but responsible for leaving the environment better off for the future and all inhabitants... Phil was born and raised along the St. Lawrence of Ontario, Canada and studied at Queens University as a nuclear physicist. A meteorologist for Environment Canada for 35 years, Phil specializes in severe weather and training. Remote sensing is his forte - you might want to see a tornado before you die... but not just before you die! He has farmed, raised bees, written books and articles, lectured and instructed...
