Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

A Jackson Pollock inspired drip painting with layered collage materials.

This artwork is an exciting journey in both discovery and process. It is not only a poured, mixed-media painting with paint drips inspired by the works of Jackson Pollock but in addition is inspired by the Indian Batik method of painting,

During the process, an unprimed canvas without a coat of gesso was begun by an initial drawing with chalk and charcoal. With a layer of tempera and acrylic paint which was allowed to dry, the canvas was washed and painted over in repeated layers.

A limited color palette was chosen. Once the topmost layer was reached, collaged materials were added including wood chips, matchbox-cover, metal wires, string, and cotton wool that were adhered by acrylic paint as the permanent gluing agent. (Acrylic paint has glue-like properties).

The canvas was washed and repeatedly layered after each dry cycle.
