Description
This unique artwork, "Precious Times", was created by artist, Allison B. Griffin, with soft pastels on pastelmat. It is an ode to the good times, bringing a consciousness of how easily those times pass and should be cherished before they do. As the winter slowly melts away to spring, then summer, so do those precious moments and times. If you look a bit more closely, this artwork literally depicts this 'melting away' by the snow in the upper compartment of the hourglass melting into water that flows down to the lower scene of sailboats on the lake.
