Description

Still life painting of peonies; blue and white china; and a couple of blue goblets, all sitting on a white table cloth. The peonies were picked from my wife's garden
This painting hung in the Minnesota governors mansion during the Pawlenty administration, as well as part of the Dayton administration. The painting was put on display in the mansion at the request of Mrs Pawlenty. (She had seen the painting on display in the Minnesota State fair annual juried art show and asked if she could display it in the mansion).

Here's the announcement for my third place tie in the following contest from Lesley Evered: "CONGRATULATIONS your picture was voted into SHARED THIRD PLACE in the contest MAXIMUM 3 BLOOMS WITH AN ORNAMENT - 17th March 2022 , in the group STILL LIFE FLORALS".
