Description
I was noticing owls all over the place and day I decided to draw this was crazy! I am/was a school counselor (it's complicated, lol) and I found a little wind-up owl toy out in the field. Then a few minutes after the bell rang a little kid came in upset and was wearing an owl hoodie! We figure out the problem and I passed the owl toy off to her. I didn't really have a plan for this one, so I just looked up a bunch of owl images and decided to have him looking straight at us. I think as I was outlining my plan, I "saw" the metallic, robot look and just went with it. I added the tree, which was my very first tree, and the background. He is definitely unique!!
