This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About Gail Chandler
Napa Valley painter Gail Chandler is a self-taught artist who launched directly into a successful art career in 2003. At that time she focused on the beauty of the Napa Valley landmarks in watercolor. At the gallery's urging she began painting in oil in 2011 In Chandlers’ oils she attempts to trigger a memory, a giggle and maybe even bring out the mischievously naughty side of all of us. Chandler finds he humor in life and translates it remarkably well through her paintings. Chandler’s paintings match her quirky side. One could argue that her missed calling in life could have been stand up comedy. With Chandler’s work, here are things that are implied but not explicit. Chandler is pushing the boundaries of contemporary realism...
