I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.
This is a "Tulip Prickly Pear Cactus." Part of my "Spring Has Sprung" series. In our Arizona Sonoran Desert, this Tulip Prickly Pear Cactus only blooms in the springtime. There are more than a dozen varieties of prickly pear cactus. I have at least 4 varieties.
This capture was right in my own desert garden of joy. It has such a delightful, overlapping of yellow petals when fully opened, with reddish-pink interior. They take on so many looks depending on the lighting, time of day, in the shade, out in the open to name a few.
During the approaching "golden hour," they take on such a warm glow, creating such a lovely, close-up look at the petals amidst it's spiney surrounding. As if to say, "My Time To Glow!" Beautiful ladies is it your time to glow?
