This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Base painting for the vintage movie poster ''Moon of Israel'', a 1924 silent historical drama directed by Michael Curtiz. Based on the novel of the same name by H. Rider Haggard, the film is set in ancient Egypt and follows the story of a slave girl named Merapi, portrayed by María Corda, who becomes entangled in the political intrigue surrounding the Hebrew exodus from Egypt.
As the Israelites, led by Moses, seek freedom from their Egyptian oppressors, Merapi finds herself torn between her loyalty to the Pharaoh's daughter, the Princess of Egypt, and her growing sympathy for the plight of the Hebrew slaves. Alongside the epic backdrop of the exodus, Merapi's personal journey unfolds, as she grapples with questions of identity, loyalty, and destiny.
María Corda delivers a compelling performance as Merapi, capturing the character's strength, compassion, and inner conflict with grace and depth. The film's elaborate sets, stunning costumes, and epic scale transport viewers...
