This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

A vintage movie poster from Japan of ''Lion of the Desert'', a 1981 historical drama film directed by Moustapha Akkad. The film tells the true story of Omar Mukhtar, a Libyan Bedouin leader who led a resistance against Italian colonial forces in North Africa during the 1920s. Here's a description of the film:
Set in the early 20th century, the film portrays the historical events that took place in Libya when it was under Italian colonial rule. Omar Mukhtar (played by Anthony Quinn) emerges as a central figure and leader of the Libyan resistance against the oppressive Italian regime led by General Rodolfo Graziani (played by Oliver Reed).
Omar Mukhtar is depicted as a wise and charismatic figure, known as the "Lion of the Desert," who rallies his fellow Bedouin tribesmen to fight against the Italian occupiers. His guerilla warfare tactics, knowledge of the desert terrain, and unwavering commitment to the cause make him a formidable opponent for the Italian forces.
