Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

First signs of an artistic calling appeared during family holidays on the North Norfolk coast in the 1970s. This took off photographically after a summer holiday to the Costa Brava when I sold my first picture of the little fishing port of Port de la Selva to Catalan Villas. In the mid 1980s I went on to study Photography, Film & Television at Plymouth College of Art and Design which introduced me to the wonderful world of animation. This new direction had initially been inspired through work experience at the Walt Disney Studios in Sydney while on a round the world trip. The next 10 to 15 years were spent in various animation studios in Cardiff, Manchester and London working largely on childrens TV productions and half hour...
