New portraits of Jesus based on the 3D information encoded in an ancient artifact known as the Shroud of Turin. New York artist Ray Downing, using state of the art 3D computer graphics, created a 3D model of Jesus which was featured on the History Channel specials "The Real Face of Jesus?" and "Jesus: the Lost 40 Days".
The background image in this portrait is a replica of the Shroud of Turin fabric weave.
