Plot:
"It's a Wonderful Life" tells the story of George Bailey, portrayed by James Stewart, a kind-hearted and selfless man who has spent his entire life helping others in the small town of Bedford Falls. George's dreams of traveling and building a life outside of Bedford Falls are repeatedly postponed as he takes on responsibilities in his family's Building & Loan Association and supports his community.
However, when a financial crisis threatens the Building & Loan and places George in dire straits, he becomes overwhelmed with despair on Christmas Eve. Contemplating suicide, George is visited by an angel named Clarence (played by Henry Travers)...
