Description
Over the years, I have seen many bears in Glacier National Park and I am always struck by the fact that the places they inhabit are some of the most beautiful, pristine, and wild places on earth. This is a view from the Grinnell Glacier Trail. Grizzlies in the fall feed in the are on a profusion of huckleberries and other abundant fruit. Since I can't sketch while looking at the grizzly, I painted this from a photo my husband too. I loved his powerful
stance and how he surveys his kingdom.
