Description

This is a ghost sign in Old Town Sacramento, California. It reads: Boss of the Road, Union Made, The Watchdog of Quality. There is a bulldog as a "mascot" of the brand. There is also a small circle with NB Products written inside it, referring to Neustadter Brothers Products. This was an early 20th century, West Coast manufacturer of denim and workwear. The original owners of Neustadter Brothers sold it to Eloesser-Heynemann, who then sold it to Lee, who still make jeans.

I have been unable to unearth any information on the Morelos Hotel, or to read all of the other lettering next to it.
