A ghost of the past.
Not a shipwreck, but an unfinished build. Cockatoo Island was once a major hub for ship building in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
When the shipyard closed - time stopped.
The How:
Background masked out from original photo. Created 2 layers - one black and which and a colour change to a specific brown. Blended the 2 layers to show through in specific areas. Added gradient background using black, brown and white.
