Dear June, your portfolio speaks of great care and devotion to the vulnerable and small. And to the awe of the treasures around you. I am so thankful for your multiple postings on my watercolor roses and thrilled by your caring accolades. Many heartfelt thanks. By your statements, I know now that my recent watercolor works added to the whole and did not diminish it.

June, thank you for your lovely comment. Your hamster picture is very cute. I can see why your daughter was so sad when he died. Pets are very important to kids - and not only to kids. We very much missed our dog when he died.

I have been reading the comments below and your reply and I am moved to almost tears. You are right: we all need each other. In the end love and caring is what is really important. I wonder how many younger people remember this now as the world is chaos? This picture is beyond lovely. It's so sad and yes, I understand how much it hurts to lose a little hamster. Love and hug, June Pauline.

Your words are very touching Sabina. Wish that many others would take them to heart Hugs back!

June, I really like your incredible series in which you paint hands in different situations. (and hands are not at all easy to paint!) It just occurred to me that many if not most of your paintings are all about love, and you express that in the most creative of ways. Brava!

Thank you Anne It is true that I paint what I love and I have always wanted to help people feel good and take care if each other. That extends to other animals and plants. Simply, I believe that everything in this universe is connected and I choose to honor and encourage that connection. But I am not a saint and have times when I wonder if i make a difference at all. It is friends like you who have faith in my art that pull me out of the feeling that my art doesn't make a difference. I am truly grateful for your compliments and encouragement. Regarding the hand focus: I have always loved to paint and draw them and when you think about it more people relate to hands without a identifying face. When you view They Walked Together many people relate to the the two figures and identify with them because their are no faces. in other words: They can put themselves into that painting! Thank you again Anne, It's friends like you that keep me working!
