Who’s afraid of the big bad orange football wolf mascot? The other team is cowering from this tough predator who knows how to score touchdowns! Wolves (canine lupus) are the largest species in the canine family. They are social animals, travelling in packs and thereby know the value of teamwork.
Many school and universities have adopted the wolf as their mascot, including Lourdes, Walla Walla and Oak Hills Christian College (OHCC). Oak Hills is called the Wolfpack while Lourdes University is called the grey wolves. Go Wolves!
