Our yellow (or gold) black panther football mascot is a big cat who loves to score touchdowns! This panther has melanistic (or black) coloring which has been confirmed in both leopards (about 11% of the population) and jaguars (about 6% of the population in South America). If you would like a non black panther, just let us know!
Many schools and colleges have a panther as their mascot, including UW Milwaukee, Northern Iowa (UNI), Principia, Birmingham Southern (BSC), Ohio Dominican, Adelphi, Palm Beach State, Philander Smith, Florida International (FIT), Ferrum and Prairie View.
