Description
Ink illustration of a Eurasian Lynx.
Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used mostly Sakura pigma micron marker pens and an Akashiya Sai ink brush pen for the darkest areas.
The Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) is a medium sized wild cat which is found across many parts of Europe and parts of Central Asia. Eurasian lynxes have short red brown fur which changes to a silver grey coat in winter, some are heavily spotted with black spots, others have plain fur and some have a few stripes across the face and back. The neck, chin and underparts are all white. They have long legs, a short black tail and black ear tufts. Eurasian lynx are found in areas of forest, which vary depending on the range.
