Growing up, I loved to draw and always wanted to learn to paint, but I never had the time to take lessons. In the late 80's, I watched a few episodes of "The Joy of Painting" with Bob Ross. I was amazed at the simplicity and effectiveness of his work. I decided to try it for myself, and I painted for about a year, but I became too busy with my professional life to continue. In 2009 (with my wife's encouragement), I started painting again. I use oil paints to create my artwork, and due to my love of the outdoors, I primarily paint landscapes, which usually include mountains. ...

that is extremely beautifull !!! I used a similar background with one of my own paintings, but the use of colors applied here is priceless, this is an extremely detailed painting & I hope people would realize the efforts you put into this one ! you should consider painting, " waterfall in the woods " it's one of my favorites of bob Ross's. good job!
