This is an unusual Yin, Yang composition for me. Apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world - they support each other as they interrelate to one another.
This is the son of #0757 "Echo Rock on Fire". I am just using the basic composition and colours. The work is certainly not intended to be a photographic replication of Echo Rock.
The title is based on the fact that the little sketch completed on location was beckoning me to try it in a larger format. It is also "Echo Rock" after all so it is worth repeating. The Algonquin Park Arts Centre also wants some large paintings to replace the ones sold this past summer.
