I absolutely love this photo of Hazel. My first visit to the Smoky Mountains was in April 2017. I have been searching for a black bear photo for years and this one stole my heart. This beautiful girl was photographed the same year. I am very pleased with the canvas print!!

Artist's Description
This original Neurographic Art Abstract rendered in EW ink and activated to release the lovely mauve and cyan “bleeds” and was inspired by today’s journey…thru life challenges. Of late, Neurographic artistry is the only satisfactory medium which allows me to detach with love from circumstances, behaviors and changes I am unable to fix or not see. Today, I needed the pressure of the pen for release, the gentle washes for self-soothing and surrender to The Flow to achieve momentary relief and balance from my fears of life Process and unpredictable Patterns. I am SO grateful to Angela Davies for making me aware of this technique and to
Conni Schaftenaar for bringing the magic of EW pens to my attention some time ago.
NOTE: Within the controversial distinction of CP “drawing” or “painting” lies artist definition. My definition: when the surface is ENTIRELY burnished, I classify as a Painting; when any exposed Paper Is part of the composition or background, I classif...

Dear Laurel, I am sorry that you are going through such challenging times but glad that creating beautiful works like this one are bringing you some relief and balance, if only momentary. Wishing you all the best and hoping that better times lie ahead. You are so very talented and I am always inspired by your amazing work. Your title says so much, and I hope you will not be long in that state, although I admit it's one I know all too well.

Thank you both dear Marsha and Merana…you both warm my heart and make me smile!…i just added magenta highlights to those 50+ shades of gray…much to my husband’s dismay!

Beautiful, fluid, alive and abstract...dazed and confused! Nice title, reminiscent of the song by Led Zeppelin:)

I love to read how your art is helping you, while you create such amazing work! Your title struck me for I feel the same, yet for different reasons. We just adopted two kittens yesterday, and it is quite the responsibility and time consuming at that. I am way behind here. Always appreciate your art and your haiku as well, such a talent you are and so glad to know it is a helpful release for you. And always, I am hoping and wishing for all good things your way.

Beautiful design, Laurel! Don't know what life challenges you are going through, but you are in my thoughts and prayers.
