Cowering In The Corner Mono.
Cowering is crouching down in fear. Is that what you see? I can also see poor mental health, maybe anxiety. The dim lighting indicates that it’s a darker place, out of the way and deliberately unlit. The posture, however one reads it, indicates someone in distress. We generally want to try and help someone in this situation, don’t we? But, when the distress is more subtle, we are generally inclined to ignore it. When crisis strikes, can we really spot it? Insecurities, domestic violence, fear, repression, isolation, financial distress, anxiety, panic, bullying, victim of crime …,, the list is long.
So, spare a thought for those around you. Look out for subtle clues, before there’s a crisis that you might not be there for.
