Description
Black and white animal ink illustration portrait of a baby cotton-top tamarin, a critically endangered species of monkey. Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference.
The cotton top tamarin has a unique appearance due to the long sagittal crest, or long white hairs which flow from their foreheads down to the base of the neck, and bare black faces (although in juveniles as seen here their faces have more fur). They have long fur on their bodies which is white underneath and a greyish brown on their backs.
