I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
The Guilford Native Powwow Festival has been running for 44 years. It is a festival for Native Americans. There are different reasons for Powwows. One is for the demonstration of dancers to show their skills and culture. There are dances for different age groups and a demonstration by Cody Boettner, a World Champion Hoop Dancer. The dancers perform in a ring and it is regarded as being sacred. The dances are usually accompanied by drums and singing. They wear regalia according to their tribe and vary between dancers. There are several Native American tribes in North Carolina and they continue the traditions and culture of their own particular tribe.
