Description
This painting is a memory of a beautiful drive I took with dear friends through Cimarron Canyon, New Mexico, in early October. The road winds from Cimarron, New Mexico to Taos, and along the way goes through the canyon with its river, little waterfalls, lakes, cliffs, mountains, and forests. The campground for the state park there is just behind the yellow bushes. When we left Texas, it was well over 100 degrees, and had been for over a month. When we got to Northern New Mexico, the trees were showing their fall color and we needed sweaters in the evening. Beautiful memory.
