A vintage Swedish movie poster of ''Broadway Bill'', a 1934 American comedy-drama film directed by Frank Capra. This film is known for its blend of humor, drama, and its exploration of the human-animal bond, specifically between a man and his racehorse.
The story follows Dan Brooks (played by Warner Baxter), a likable but financially struggling horse trainer who becomes obsessed with his racehorse, Broadway Bill. Despite the odds and the disapproval of his family, Dan is determined to enter Broadway Bill in the prestigious Santa Anita Handicap, a high-stakes horse race. He leaves his job and embarks on a journey, accompanied by the horse and his loyal friend Whitey (played by Clarence Muse), to fulfill his dream.
