Love this duvet cover in the Tree Fort Suite of the Elk View Lodge, Fernie, BC, Canada.
While on a visit to East Harbor State park here in Ohio, I stopped by the beach to get some shots of the lake. While I was focusing on the shore this energetic little blue jay came hopping along closer and closer to me foraging for food. He never stayed in one place for very long and I had to act fast to get a good picture of him. I finally got this shot of him, which is an improvement on the other attempts that feature a blue blur hopping out of frame. Little surprises like this are what make photography such an adventure.
I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
