I created this painting on the ready to hang Canvas with best quality Oil Colors. I enhanced the painting with some pearls, swarovski, Crystals on the painting.
Lord Shiva is always attributed with Bharatanatyam (just like Goddess Lakshmi is attributed with wealth and prosperity). Shiva, in his dancing form, is called Nataraj, the lord of dance.
THE DANCE THE SMILING SHIVA IS PERFORMING IS THE TANDAVA, THE COSMIC DANCE WHICH BOTH CREATES AND DESTROYS THE UNIVERSE.
