The Batman character was created by Bob Kane and co-written by Bill Finger. The superhero first appeared in the DC Comics, Detective Comics #33 November, 1939 issue. The two page story established the brooding persona of Batman, a character driven by the murder of his parents by a mugger. At their graves the young boy vows that “by the spirits of my parents I will avenge their deaths by spending the rest of my life warring all criminals”. The Batman character is expanded upon in Batman #47 and again in Detective Comics #235 issue, June 1956.
As you can see from the various Collections, my areas of interest are broad. I work at letting the subject speak for itself and strive to offer something that gets your attention because it got mine. I have been behind a camera most of my life. It started in high school as newspaper and yearbook photographer. After serving in the US Armed Forces I attended Brooks Institute of Photography. Most of my career however was dedicated to video production as a director of photography, camera operator, editor, and owner operator of a video production company in Denver, Colorado.
